Dubai Shopping Festival - Dubai - TravBuddy

I've been hearing about this since I came here. Since I don't have work today, I took the 2-hour bus ride to experience the shopping madness in Dubai. The Dubai Shopping Festival officially started yesterday, Jan 24.
There are dozens of huge malls in Dubai, but today we visited Deira City Center. And all shops are on sale.. Sale to as much as 70%off. Had great choices too, maybe because it is just the second day. And since it is a weekend, there are plenty of shoppers. It won't really bother you because the sales persons in every store seemed efficient enough to do their job, not much que when paying. I was informed that it will last for a month, so more time to go back and check other malls. Again, it is best to visit on a Friday, less traffic on the road. Happy shopping!
