Drury Lane Water Tower Travel Reviews

Altar Boyz Mar 04, 2008
If you like theater, the Drury Lane Theater at the Water Tower place is a very good place to go. They were playing "25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee" for awhile but now they are playing "Altar Boyz". "Altar Boyz" is a parody about a religious boy band. If you were a fan of the Backstreet Boys or NSync or even have heard some of their songs, you will think this show is great. Its a musical with a lot of dancing...make that a lot of choreographed dancing.

There are so many theaters and shows to choose from in Chicago...but I'm recommending this one because the theater is so intimate. Most of the other houses are very large and tickets can be quite expensive. "Altar Boyz" tickets were pretty reasonable at $50. I'd check the website to see what shows are playing when you visit, but the space is definitely worth checking out. It's also so easy to get to! It is located right across the street from the John Hancock Building and is situated right in the Water Tower Place shopping center.
