Drury Inn and Suites Airport Atlanta (Georgia)

Okay, so my brother-in-law and myself landed a temporary job in Atlanta doing electrical work and we were lucky enough to have been provided a hotel since we live a good hour away from Atlanta...Gotta love perks :)

We stay at the Drury Inn and Suites located very close to the airport. It is located at exit 73 off of I-85. This has been a great hotel, especially if you need to stay an extended period of time. Although it is not located right in the mix of things in downtown Atlanta, it is certainly close enough to get into some things. I believe it is about a 15 minute car ride to Peachtree St and Spring St (heart of Atl). There is also a MARTA station (our subway) located at the airport which will deliver you to nay desired destination in the city.

Every morning at 6am and 7am on the weekends, the hotel provided the guests with a complimentary hot breakfast. The grub consists of sausage, biscuits and gravy and powdered eggs (yummy I know) which you can top with cheese, ham and salsa. They also have plenty of bagels, toast and muffins with the appropriate fixins'. Also, they have cereal and a make your own waffle station, which I am a frequent visitor. To drink there is orange juice, apple juice, coffee (decaf and reg), milk and soda fountain which is on all day. During the day they have hot popcorn.

In the evenings, all the guests are provided with three free adult beverages. Nothing too fancy, just some cheap wine and liquor and some bud light on tap. Be nice to the barkeep and she will return the favor in kind (applicable everywhere).

The rooms are nice. Ours includes two double size beds and cot for extra guests. Free wireless internet service (there is also two computers downstairs). Coffee machine, iron and board, closet with adequate space and a shower. Oh and we have a 42" high definition TV...and yes the channels are in high def too!! You also get an hour of free long distance in case you lack a cell phone.

As for the rates, I think they start at about $90 with some special rates at $60 and work there way up. Don't quote me on this though because I don't get the bill.
