One of the most interesting buildings we saw was the Frauenk…

Left Berlin early on way to Prague. Stopped in Dresden for 3 hours on the way. Ride through eastern Germany felt like US midwest but with better highways! Dresden was hammered by allied bombing; in fact 95% of city destroyed. Has been rebuilt over the years and now stands as monument to recovery an…

Dresden was an ideal stop after Berlin. A smaller city, but one with amazingly beautiful architecture. I stayed relatively close to the town square and was able to walk everywhere, including the train station. Dresden was a close 2nd to Heidelberg in my favorite stops in Germany and produced some of my best pictures.
