Dreams Tulum Resort

Some friends and I decided to get a break from our stressed work schedules and enjoy a spa retreat weekend at the dreams tulum spa & hotel. We arrived pretty excited about having a spa retreat weekend including luxurious facials and relaxing body treatments.... and maybe getting some great body massages as well, why not? We all where in the mood for relaxation and enjoying the fine art of doing nothing…
With all this ideas on our mind, we all arrived to the hotel and rushed into making a spa massage appointment, but to our disappointment they did not had any places left for the weekend… However we were still in the spa mood, so we decided to go anyway and enjoy the installations and the water circuit…
When we finally arrived to the spa we realized that there is not water circuit! Like other great spas (blue bay resort) they only have a Jacuzzi and a sauna! And they still charge you for using the installations! Talking about the some expensive Jacuzzi… To make matters worst we realize that they were not giving out massages appointments because they were full of clients, it was because they did not have the sufficient staff members to provide for these services! If they haven’t hired the sufficient staff, the question is why do they advertise the spa in the first place then? That is lying to the customers, since we would never have booked that hotel if we knew the spa is not a spa… just a Jacuzzi…,without staff and poor service …
I would not recommend this hotel to my friends, family or anyone, not just because of the spa, but for poor service and lack of available restaurants to have dinner after 10 pm! (People want options)… The only plus it’s the beautiful hotel location…. The beach is breathtaking….. but its Tulum.. There are far better hotels to choose from…
