Dreamland Warung

The Dreamland Warung is a restaurant in the New Kuta Development along the boardwalk that follows around to the Klapa. Much of this area is still new with many more shops/restaurants moving in. But for now, this restaurant is the only one. This was the last restaurant we checked out in New Kuta, completing our tour of all them. The prices here are inexpensive, catering to the casual beach-goers. They serve a mix of Indonesian and western foods. You can come in here right off the beach with sand on your feet and dressed in just your swimwear. It offers a partial view of the beach, with shade and a nice breeze. It’s all open-air; nothing fancy about it, but the food is pretty good.
Asri had the nasi goring (fried rice), and I ordered a real American meal…cheeseburger and fries! For drinks I chose a strawberry Fanta and Asri had a bottle of Indonesia’s popular tea.
