Honestly don't let the cost fool you. It depends what you want to do. You could go down town to first friday (the art walk) and do something completely fun for free, if you're into art. There are local pubs, and bars and resturants that aren't expensive at all, but then there are some that are way expensive. It depends what you want to do. There is Sicence City for the kids, or adults if your into it. Plus and Imax and food courts at Union Station. Theres year round Ice Skating and the plaza, which is espacially nice around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Theres the World War I monument as well as Crown Center which offers enough entertainment for the building it fits into. If you decided to visit Westport, theres plenty of things for young adults to party and have fun with. Either way, you'll love it, I'm sure.

downtown KC. It wa amazing, it looked like it was from the movie "cronicles from riddick." Mark said the locals called it the "PENIS PALACE" HAHAHAHAHA We all went to a famous fountain near the place where we were supposed to eat breakfast and it turned… ARE YOU OFFENDED WITH MY BLUE STRIPED BOXERS!?!??!

…very confusing to me -- there are two hotels called Crown Center (Westin and Hyatt) and another one called Crown Plaza (downtown -- and not on the Plaza -- another confusing thing). I had booked through Priceline -- and thought I was staying at the same place everyone else was -- something with the word 'Crown' in it. Echt midden in Kansas City Downtown, ergens in een heel chic hotel is een klein kantoortje van Hertz. Daar ging die man van de balie naar de schade kijken, en ons een formulier laten invullen. Alleen omdat het niet zomaar een klein krasje was, moesten we eigenlijk een andere auto… Oeps!!!
