Too much Ennis, not enough ZZZs

So yesterday I walked to the Cliffs from Doolin along the coast (recommended by the hostel caretakers versus taking a bus).  I believe I was trespassing the whole time as my walk included jumping over barricades, rivers, stone fences, past cows and other grazing animals with a curious glare, a…

We traveled via bus to see the Cliffs of Mohr, however, as a result of the lovely rain, it wasn't really as visible as usual. Luckily we were protected by our amazing raingear provided by Pammy (aka our mom)! Moms have great insight! While we danced around in the rain at the tops of the cliffs, we …

We got up early today (ferry day), got all our stuff ready and went to wait outside for our 8:15am cab we had booked the day before.... the notoriously unreliable cab that is. So were waiting outside, we were booked on the 9am ferry back to the mainland. Well, 8:15 comes an…

After an early 7:30am breakfast, our bus departed an hour later for the Cliffs of Moher. They rise 668 feet above the Atlantic Ocean with the highest point at 702 ft. near the tower. On a clear day you can see across to the ARAN ISLANDS but we had a cloudy day with a little bit O' rain. There is a …

Woke up around 9am and got ourselves ready to check out and drop off our bags in the car.  The bus arrived at 9:45am and we were off to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Caves.  The scenery just driving there was absolutely beautiful.  I can't even explain it.  I must say though,…

"I'll seek a four-leaved shamrock in all the fairy dells, And if I find the charmed laves, or, how I'll weave my spells! I would not waste my magic might on diamond, pearl, or gold, For treasure tires the weary sense, such triumph is but cold; But I would play the enchanter's part, in casting bliss around - Oh! not a tear, nor aching heart, should in the world be found!" Day four: Cliffs of Moher and Doolin   There was so much more we wanted to do in the Killarney area, like explore the Killarney National Park [which is the largest National Park in Ireland]. Or go explore the Dingle peninsula, but I had enough of driving in that fog, I was hoping we’d see …
