Planning on coming out to New York? If you are, don't forget to hop the L train to the Bedford Avenue stop in Williamsburg (1st stop into Brooklyn from Manhattan), right across the East River!
Williamsburg is home to lots of great restaurants, bars, galleries, boutiques, shopping, music venues, parks, bodegas, people, and much much more! It's called home by many ethnic groups and is THE hipster capital of the world... whether this is a good or bad thing is up to you haha! We've also got a crazy white hot real estate market going on right now with new developments popping up on practically every block and rents on the rise! This too is a hotly debated topic on its effects on the neighborhood and it's longtime and newly adopted residents. In any case though, Williamsburg is not to be missed!  |
