Don Valley - Great 24-hour Korean BBQ in Itaewon! Oct 14, 2007
The menu is extensive in terms of what meats is offered for BBQ - ssam gyup ssal, kalbi, and bulgogi at average (to slightly expensive) prices but with generous portions.
They are open all night. Located in Itaewon where the largest non-Korean community resides in Seoul, the restaurant is filled with non-Koreans and are staffed with Western-friendly service. The restaurant is large - accomodation at least 100-150 seats. I'm not entirely sure where in Itaewon Don Valley is located since we drove, but the restaurant is located on a corner on a big intersection by Burger King. I recommend the bulgogi and ssam gyup ssal. Part of the South Korea 2007 travel blog

We left Chun'cheon on a full stomach after we had breakfast in an unassuming small restaurant a block away behind from IMT Hotel. How my friend's father found it, I don't know. We had spicy fish soup with a 100-year old kimchi. Wa…Valley Korean BBQ restaurant popular with non-Koreans. It was open 24-hours, too! Again, when I offered to pay, they refused. Karen remembered it was my birthday and that precipitated for Albert to offer to pay. Albert drove us back to our hostel again… South Korea: Seoul & my 24th Birthday |
