Good Place for Drinks and Music, Food not Much Aug 06, 2014
We were searching for a place to dine and at the same time to have some drinks and sort of music while in Tagaytay. The hotel staff told us to find one in Magallanes Square, and so we begin searching until we found out Don Juan Grill House.

Speaking of place, well I can say that the place is okay. It looks like a native hut with cow boy setting. We occupied the second level, good enough to view the acoustic singer at the ground floor.

Don Juan offers variety of foods. Among others, they have special menu for exotic foods like crispy baboy damo (wild pigs), tapang kabayo (horse stake), palakang bukid (farm frogs), kambing (goat) and of course the famous bulalo (beef soup with bone marrow). Well, we’ve just ordered zizling pork and fried bangus. No desert available on the menu.

After dinner, we had some san mig light drinks while enjoying the performance of the acoustic singer. The way I looked at it, the place is frequently visited because of its bar concept.

Well, I know there are lots of places to dine and drink while in Tagaytay Why not try them first.
