The beaches in Punta Cana were amazing, white and perfect sand! On the other hand, the scuba diving was less than amazing. The reefs are dying and nobody is taking care of the environment.

The hotel was lovely taxi drivers awfull, its very hot and smoggy there, the beaches are amazing and hiring a jeep is a good idea, not alot too see in the main town, there are some very nice traditional resurants.

In November 2007 I got the chance to go to the Dominican Republic for 1 week to do nothing but relax and enjoy myself. (and no i wasn't working). It was great, I spent the time sitting by the pool, drinking, and swimming with dolphins. A great time i only wish that i could of stayed for 2 weeks.

When I visited the Domincan Republic in March I knew I would be back soon and when I did I would definetly visit Haiti. I know Haiti is a very poor country but it was much more than expected. The goverment has robbed this once beautiful country of its resources to barely survive.
