My parents have been going there every summer for the past 10 years and they finally offered to pay for me to come. By the end of the trip, I had been un-invited from all future family vacations..oops!

How lucky was I to land at this site for my placement? Sure it has it's downsides, but the view is incredible and keeps me sane.

In the summer of 2007 I`ve visit the domenican republic. We stayed in Las Terrenas, peninsula Samana. I took care of a little dog Chinola. One day I found her on my doorstep, hungry en sick. We looked after her, and find her a new boss. I still miss her. Two days before I went home, I was robbed. They also took my camera, so I have not many pics. Though it was a fantastic trip!!

We stayed in an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana called Allegro. We booked the trip through Apple Vacations; super cheap and organized. Fabulous mamajuana, wine, dance productions, and all around service. Definitely check out the glass bottom boats and snorkeling! Took a trip to a local school to give candy and toys, so fun!
