Domazlice Czech Republic. Nov 01, 2017
Domazlice is only 15km from the German border, and is a pictureque little town ,with pastel coloured buildings.. The main square,Namesti Miru,is a long broad street really, in it is the white round church tower, the feature of Domazlice. The tower can be climbed, there are 196 steps.-- There is another white round tower, from the 13th century,it is the museum Chodska.-- I had a meal in a lovely little resturaunt in a side street off the main square.

Later i had a Czech beer in a large pub, meal and beer great.--The towns main rail station is 15km east of town, and is called Domazlice. The Domazlice Mesto is a little station, only 5 minutes walk from town, the Mesto is only used by slow trains.-- I arrived from Furth in Germany by slow train and got of at Mesto. On the walk to town passed the Chodska museum with the white tower. On leaving i returned to Mesto to catch the train the short distance to Domazlice main station, to catch my train back to Furth Germany.--- There is a bus station just off the main square, near the brewery.--Domazlice is definatly well worth the visit. I would call again.----The currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech koruna.
