For someone that has spent most of my time staying in hostels during my travels, this place was a treat! It was a perfect setting for a romantic rendevouz. We stayed in the Ming Room which has an exquisite blue-tiled sunken tub for 2.
The owner was a wonderful lady and the food was marvelous. We had a great time there, alas I have no pictures of that part of the vacation! The Olympic Peninsula is one of the most stunning areas I've had the fortune to see in the US. Domaine is fairly close to Hurricane Ridge, and about 2 hours from the Hoh Rain Forest. There are several nearby areas of the Olympic National Forest to see, and miles of beach to explore. There are also some nearby wineries, though I can't vouch for them because there wasn't time in the itinerary. |
