Two weeks in Peniche nice I populate of the Portuguese coast with a few fantastic beaches, ideally for the practice the surf

5 weeks visiting friends in lisbon, working in porto and going around the north of portugal

Today we went together with Monica's friend to Peniche. We were told to find some nice beaches here.Peniche used to be an island, so it has water allmost all around it. The beaches are big, and a plus for surfers are the big waves. In the old town you can find some of the best seafood I've ever tasted. At evening time the happening place is near the harbour. Wow, how hot it is here!  Im in a gorgeous fishing village in the centre of the west coast of Portugal, called Narare, just up from Lisbon.  Heading for Lisbon tomorrow.  We almost took out an old lady hauling a wagon load of corn husks with her donkey today on the road here.  You just never know what youre going to come up against when you turn corners in these parts of the world, haha.  I had the most lovely conversation with an old Portuguese woman.  No teeth,...
