mmm. Very relaxing. Were staying, with Darens family, in an appartment by the beach, but even closer to the pool. Seaviews, drinks and sunshine. All the joys that these sort of hollidays offer. It's new to me, but makes me consider wehther we should just drop all this world trip buisness (Camping in tick and mozzie infested woods against this! ????) and spend the money on a flat in portugal..... We celebrated Robs birthday yesterday with nice mixture of the danish and english …

I lived and studied in Granada, Spain. I spent time traveling around and soaking in the language. We tried to get out every weekend in the surrounding hills, mountains, beaches since bus fare was cheap and locals were friendly and wouldn't speak English:)

Although I went to lisbon for work, I had enough time to get a taste of Portugal. I loved it. The tourist sites in the city are all within walking distance. The hills are a workout. Visit Belem. Especially the famous Pasteis de Belem for the egg tarts. Be sure to enjoy DOCAS right by the bridge - lots of great restuarants and bars/clubs at night. I'd like to go back in the summer to go to the beaches.....

Great country! I went to Albufeira twice and still haven't seen everything

For two weeks we toured with the car through the south of Spain and Portugal. The weather was fantastic! We've seen a lot of things and we liked it very much. We took a cheap Easyjet flight from Basel to Malaga.

Zomer vakantie. 12 dagen zon, zee en strand. Toch maar een auto gehuurt om iets van het land te zien.

Hitchhiking through Germany, friendsiness in Slovenia, hitchhiking back, off to Barcelona, surflongboardroadtripping through Spain and Portugal, onwards to Denmark, and back home. now wish me good luck! haha

How hard was it getting on the bus to leave Sevilla? Very hard but I felt that my short stay was another experience to keep the Camino alive for me. Now for the first time since 31st May, I would be in a country other than Spain. AND they speak Portugese, so all my hard work would be useless in this new world. So after a 2 week taper and an extended period of bricking it the event has finally arrived I left work about 3pm on Friday, possibly a bit early, and flew over to Lisbon, taking in an hour of so of cricket in the BA lounged.
