Great place for less expensive Disney trip Aug 10, 2014
This is the best of Disney value Resorts in my opinion. The rooms can be noisy but the place is full of children so it should be expected. The room was spotless and stayed that way all week. The staff is amazing expecially the groundskeeper with all the amazing landscape. The food is ok cost average for a theme park. The breakfast was the best worries and fruit. If you drink soda or anything they have get the cup you only pay once for around 18 for a whole week. I walked the trail around Pop Century and next door hotel it is very nice and was quiet when I walked. If you have children they would love the towel animals the cleaning staff makes. They don't have microwaves or mini fridge and the only Disney Resorts that do cost mega Bucks $$$$$$$$. You get an early entry to some parks with stay but not all rides open early.

Great place to vacation while at Disney World. Apr 19, 2009
This Disney Resort hotel had a 50's thru 90's theme with three pools, arcade, dining, and a Disney shop. What makes this hotel so unique is the theme. The resort is divided into three seperate areas marked by the "era" you stay in. The 50-60 era pool area is a Bowling alley setting with the pool in the shape of a bowling pin. the 60-70 era pool area is a "flower power" setting with the pool in the shape of a flower. the 80-90 era pool area is a technology setting with the pool in the shape of a computer. The entire resort hotel is very well maintained and the staff is exceptional. I highly recommend this resort hotel for a relaxing stay with the family.

More like a hotel, not a resort Apr 10, 2008
For anyone who wants to bring thier family to Disney World, and your wanting to stay on disney grounds for a resonable price, but forfeit luxury, pop century is for you. When you drive up to the Pop Century resort, you automatically see oversized statues and objects of different eras, since that is the theme. In the center of the resort you have the front desk, food court and a shop. The food court is large and has different lines for different foods. The food court also seems to be a lot more crowded in the morning and evenings, usually when everyone starts coming back from the parks. There are different pools and playground for the kids. The rooms are like any other hotel rooms. There were two queen sized beds, which were not comfortable at all, but you get what you pay for. The bathroom had a tub/shower and toilet. With the vanity and sink outside the bathroom. I did have to call room service to ask for a playpen, which was no problem. They had it deliverd very quickly. I have heard, depending on what time of year you go, room service might lag a little bit. Although I did not have this problem. The walls of the room were very thin, so the chance of you hearing everyone elses plumbing are very high. If you are going to the parks, there are the disney buses that run about every 15 min. The one thing that differs from the pop century and the all star resorts is, the buses don't stop at any other hotel for the pop century. So, if your going to the magic kingdom, you go straight there and not have to stop to pick up more people at another hotel. Very Very nice especially when you have anxious kids! When your ready to check out, there is a check in baggage for your airline at the front of the resort. So, you don't have to check in to your airline at the airport, you do it there. So all and all for the price you can't beat pop century. It's just all in how much luxury you want to forfiet.

Nice Disney Resort Apr 29, 2008
This is probably the best economy resort on Disney Property. Nice food court and great pools. Catch Disney Transport buses to any disney park.
