Disney's All-Star Movies

Conveniently loacted on Disney grounds. A bus picks you up and takes you to any four of the Disney World theme parks, and there is not a long wait. The grounds are clean, comfortable, and family oriented. Dotted along the grounds are giant statues of disney characters like the dalmation and Herby. There is a large pool and a jacuzzi in the middle of the resort, so you don't have to walk far to get to it. There is also a restaurant located on site. The staff is helpful in a speedy check in so you can immediately start having fun. Overall this resort is good for family on a budget. The price when I went actually started at 79.99 and up.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is one of the official hotels "on the property" at DisneyWorld. It's one of the budget category family resorts. This means the rooms are a bit smaller and less posh than the major on-site resorts. Still, the rooms are spacious enough (and you're not going to spend much time there when visiting DisneyWorld) and comfortable.

All-Star Movies is themed around the Disney animated films. If you like Disney films, you'll love the decor! Children will espcially love the giant Dalmatians and other larger-than-life animated movie characters around the grounds. The reception center has an interesting photo display of Disney film-making that Disney film buffs will enjoy.

There are two major advatanges to staying on-site at DisneyWorld. Complimentary bus transportation is provided to each theme park and Downtown Disney. Guests can take advantage of the daily early park opening. (Open early only to guests staying on-site.) The early opening is a real advange to families. Children (and parents) can see the popular attractions early in the day and then return to the nearby hotel to relax, swim, or nap in the afternoon. Families will be ready to head out again in the evening without having to return to the parks.

A themed outdoor pool and water slide, food hall (meals are not included), and gift shop are on the hotel grounds. Coin-operated laundries are provided.
