A note on the rating: dinosaurs are my favorite thing ever in life, so I'd give it five stars even if it was just a guy on a bench doing a dinosaur-themed coloring book. Objectively...actually, I don't think I can be objective. It's dinosaurs, for crying out loud!I think the entrance fee was around ten pounds, which isn't horrendous but was definitely an increase over the fees from previous years. Children didn't get much of a discount since they're pretty much the target market.Basically, the main draw is a nature walk along which more or less life sized dinosaur models are hidden (there's a lot of trees). I think the aim is to track down a rogue T-Rex or something, so there's an occasional ranger station with a phone booth you can listen to prerecorded clues on. Whether you listen or not, you'll eventually reach the end of the trail where - surprise - there's a T-Rex.Other than that, there's a maze, an obstacle course, a petting zoo, and some other miscellaneous, vaguely dinosaur-related activities. You can collect stamps as you walk through the park to claim a prize when you leave, as well. (It was ice cream, and you had to be under a certain age.)Basically, if you're a small child or just act like one when it comes to dinosaurs, you have to go. How could you not?
this was my life's dream. other ph…
