This review is for TBs who look for nice hanging out places to reward your exhausting day after a long walk in humid city. However, great reward comes with price. These restaurants are ones of those luxurious place where you pick for special occasion.

- Vertigo
The roof top restaurant and bar on the 59th floor of Banyan Tree hotel on Satorn road. The food here cost a fortune. If it's not a very special occasion or someone very sweet heart you taking along, I wouldn't recommend the food, just walk straight through the dining area to bar zone, it's more reasonable. Loads of nice cocktails start at 13 USD.

What it is famous for:Magnificent panoramic Bangkok view.

Dress code: Smart casual, no shorts or flip-flop. However, at the reception, they will prepare pants and shoes in case you don't.

How to get there: Take BTS (sky train) to either Rajdamri or Saladaeng Station and further take taxi to the hotel would be the cheapest way. (taxi should cost not more than 50 bath from Saladaeng and 70 baht from Rajdamri)

Recommendation: Have some nice reasonable food somewhere else then come here and order just one glass of cocktail, have great chitchatting and savor the view then off to somewhere else.

- Siam@Siam
The new boutique hotel opposite The National Stadium, where is next to MBK department store. The pub called Party House One on ground floor serves designed fusion food costed from 10 -25 USD. The taste is great. However their 300's cocktail menu is it's recommendation and the cost is reasonable around 6.8 USD.

What it is famous for: The designed atmosphere which is a bit artistic but relaxing. It's good to spend time drinking and talking.

Dress code: Whatever!!!

How to get there: It's very convenient by taking BTS to National Stadium station and walk further on the opposite side of MBK and National Stadium for 100 M. The hotel is on the right. If you come from Kao Sarn, you have to take taxi and it should not cost you more than 150 baht. (no toll at all) In case he doesn't know where the hotel is just tell the driver to either National Stadium or MBK and you start from there.

Recommendation: Get some dinner at Paragon or MBK first then move here for drinks and nice long talk.

- Supathra
Thai restaurant owned by a hi-society celebrity, artist and stage performer, Patravadi. She also owns Pathravadi theatre and home stay, where are next to the restaurant. The restaurant serves very original Thai food with the royal impression from the food decorations. Also the view is magnificent as the grand palace is on the opposite and Temple of The Dawn is behind. The food, as Thai, I would say unforgettable. I think you will spend around 12-25 USD per person depend on the food and drink you order. It costs around 6 USD a dish.

What it is famous for: The food, the view, the sound, the breeze. Ohh I would say it's the pleasurable experience of your 5 senses. (Since it's in the old town area you might experience the 6th sense as the bonus, hehe)

Dress code: Better no flip-flop

How to get there: The restaurant is not very far from Kao Sarn road only the other side of the Chao Praya River. You can get taxi or walk to Tah Maharaj pier where is next to Tha Pra Chan pier on Maharaj road. And you get the restaurant ferry, exclusive for restaurant customers only. The ferry looks really authentic as old wooden boat.

Recommendation: Come for a decent romantic dinner, enjoy the view and nice long chat for couple hours and take the ferry back to Tha Maharaj pier then walk back for night experience of old town to Kao Sarn road and hangout there in case you run out of money. Or take take taxi to Siam@Siam hotel for the next catching up and drinks (for the second choice, you would spend around 25-38 USD for the whole night per person.

- Vino di Zanotti
An Italian restaurant and wine house in Silom area. Great Italian food, great wine and great jazz music. On Friday you definitely have to reserve the table at 02-636-0811-3. You can spend time there as long as you like without moving and just enjoying food, wine and music.

What it is famous for:
The food, and the sophisticated atmosphere of wine and jazz.

Dress code: as sexy and attractive as you like since loads of nice looking people there.

How to get there: Take BTS to Saladaeng road and walk to Soi Saladaeng around 100 m. You will see Zanotti restaurant first on the left and there will be a narrow road call Yommaraj next to the restaurant, Vino di Zanotti is on that road on the right.

Recommendation:
Dinning at Vino first then heat up with a bottle of wine and jazz then cross Silom road to Silom Soi 4 where pubs and bars along street for drink dance drunk!!

Well I think this review is too long that bore you guys. I'm not a real party girl and just try to share the good experiences that I had. See what kind of place you feel like. The next one will be the restaurant where is more reasonable price and local go for the sake of the taste only.

Have a great hang out night!!

Ps, Deats, this is what I promised for your hangout with your bro and Vertigo is where Steve mentioned the other day.
