Dinkey Creek is in the California Sierra's about 50 miles out of Fresno. It is a beautiful campground surrounded by pines and granite rocks. There is a creek that is near by that has pools of water formed by snow melt moving rocks and making these pools. There are many cliffs that one can jump off from ranging from 12 ft to 45 ft. There is a place called the slicks, where the water has made the rocks so smooth that you can sit on them and slide down them like a water slide. Another place is called the Bathtub. It is a big round pool that is like a bathtub, the water is pretty shallow, but some parts are deep enoughso that you can jumpoff adead tree that fell over the Tub.One other last cool place is called Granite Pools. At the top isare two natural water slides, then a 25 foot jump into the next pool, followed by a poolwhere you can climb behind a waterfall and jump out from behind it.However to get to theGranite Poolsit takes a tad bit ofa hike, but it is totally worth it.The weather in the summer is prefect, it gets up to about ninety and has low humidity. The camping is great and relaxed. Everybody should most definetly check Dinkey Creek out.

If this is the same place as the one I knew, you are very easy to please. Tell us the location and how to get there.
