Awesome views Jul 16, 2015
Dingli Cliffs are situated in the village of Dingli in the Northern region of Malta. The cliffs are one of the highest points on the island of Malta and the views are amazing. You can see clearly the uninhabited islet of Filfla off the coast - this is a very popular area for scuba divers.

The area is ideal for coastal walks and hiking. Easy accessible by the number 52 bus from Valletta bus terminal, or alternatively by car.

The chapel of St Mary Magdalene is situated on the cliff edge, but is only open on 2 occasions throughout the year, 22 July which is the feast day of St Mary Magdalene and the Sunday during holy week.

Be careful when walking around the cliffs, especially with children as there is no secure fencing at the cliff edge - just a sheer drop, our guide warned us of this on a number of occasions.

Well worth a visit if in the area, or if you like walking/hiking.

There is also a man who sells fresh fruit, veg, and produce from a small red van in the car park - be sure to give him a visit, I can highly recommend the peanut brittle, prickly pear jam, nougat and prickly pear liqueur =)
