Istanbul, Turkey -› Hisarlik, Turkey -› …
I am studying Classical Studies at university, and so leapt at the chance to go on a university visit to the great historical sites of Western Turkey. It was colder than expected, but an amazing place which I want to return some day and explore further. Such a shame I couldn't go again with them to Tunisia this year due to heavy dissertation workload!

Graduating in May I headed to the Caribbean, then to Spain and Denmark, then the southern US, then Greece, followed by Turkey and Cyprus, then Greece again, and finally the central US.

38 months, Europe, Asia the Middle East and Africa. Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Pandas, Elephants, Bears, Komodo Dragons, Turtles, Tigers, Bulls. Pyramids, Petra, Ephesus, Kremlin, Great Wall, Angkor, Bagan, Persepolis, Trans Siberian railway and fantastic travbuddys! Stolen bags, crowbar threats, 1 landmine explosion, bank robbery, 2 motorbike crashes, 2 bus crashes, pancreatis, erosion of the liver and kidneys, BUT im still here and telling my tale!
