This is great place to go and get cheap burger, fries and milkshakes up until 2am. I have never heard Dick's and In-N-Out mentioned as the same kind of place because they are no where near the same. This place is a Seattle classic (ask anyone who lives in or near Seattle) and even though they do not do any special order (i.e., no mustard, ketchup, etc.) this place has good burgers for a very cheap price. You get what you pay for, so don't expect a larger burger, but do expect a burger well worth the $1.00 you spent on it. The milkshakes are thick and fries are salted just right. Don't pass it up. There are 5 locations located through out Seattle.

I grew up in LA, so I was raised on In-N-Out burgers. When I even heard the name Dick's mentioned in the same breath as In-N-Out, I made a trip that same night to try it out.I have never been so disappointed in my life as I was the first time I went to Dick's. Even McDonald's cheeseburgers are better by a long shot. The only redeeming quality about Dick's is the fries, which are vaguely reminiscent of In-N-Out's fries. That, and it's fun to say, "Let's go eat some Dick's."For decent burgers try Fatburger, Red Robin, or the Ram Brewery.

I'm sorry, but I would have to disagree 100% I've been to In-N-Out a few times in cali and in vegas, they have nothing on Dick's.

Dick's is supposed to be one of the best cheap burger joints in the Seattle area. That part they got right. The part they got wrong...it shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as In-and Out...there is just no comparison. http://seattle.citysearch.com/profile/10780882/seattle_wa/dick_s_drive_in.htmlpros: fairly cheap $2 cheeseburgers, $1 homemade fries, open til 2amcons: small burgers, definitely not as good as In-and-out, ketchup and mustard cost extra, no special sauce, no spsecial styles, no love in preparation of the hamburger. malts aren't that good eitherbest in seattle maybe, but in-n-out tops it all.

i feel you man, some of these burrito joints here, my boston friends rave about how good they are.

but that's before I take a bite out of em. Then i wonder if they even have any Hispanic people here to show em what a real burrito is like!

Everything's better in cali man...
