Diamond Head Vacation Guide
Diamond Head is part of the complex of cones, vents, and their associated eruption flows that are collectively known as the Honolulu Volcanic Series. Since the type of eruptions that built Diamond Head tend to be monogenetic, geologists don't believe Diamond Head will erupt again. I think it looks like a big crator, or like a bomb went off there.
If you ever make your way out to Hawaii, The island of Oahu you must make the long hike up Diamond Head. It is so worth it, I was so tired and hot by the time I made it to the top but the breeze and the sites will cool you down and just blow your mind.

A weeklong vacation on Oahu, where we stayed at the west shore resort of Ihilani, in the Ko Olina area. We enjoyed lots of sun, time on the beach, good food, driving around in a convertible (a must!), a traditional luau and some of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen!
