Diamond Head Lighthouse Aug 29, 2009
Though I was quite far from this lighthouse while sailing at sea, the beauty of this lighthouse did not escape me. Perched on a rocky shore, this majestic lighthouse protects ships on the southwestern shore of the island of Oahu.
Visitors can catch a catamaran on Waikiki beach sometimes sailing for as little as $20 in cash. The boat likes to sail with a minimum of 5 people and if they need to fill seats, such as in the early morning, the keep dropping the price until they get a taker. Fun, beautiful, and wow! What scenery!~ |

Climbing Diamond Head is a must do when visiting Waikiki. Try to get an early morning start to avoid crowds. The view is great.
