Is this Punch spiked? Oct 13, 2014
The Devils Punchbowl is thought to have been created when the roofs of 2 adjoining sea caves collapsed. It was named as such due to it's resemblance to a punchbowl when looking at it from above.

Due to offshore storms we had good conditions for watching as the waves were smashing in and churning around the bowl. It is a great stop for watching the surf and there is apparently a good surfing spot nearby.

We didn't spend much time here but there are tidepools to explore and if you are lucky you may get to see whales off shore. Sadly, almost every stop we made along the coast we had just missed the whales.

Oh the Pacific Northwest is amazing but I might be biased living in the Canadian portion. :) I haven't spent much time in Washington state but I love Oregon.
