The water was churning Oct 13, 2014
The Devils Churn was created by years of water pounding into the rocks first creating a sea cave and then having the cave collapse. It is located in the Siuslaw National Forest and part of Cape Perpetua south of Yachats.

On the day we were there, there had been many storms off the coast and the water was churning. You can walk down the rocks to the edge but with the risk of sneaker waves you need to be very mindful and keep an eye on the water coming in.

Loving water and the ocean as I do, it was definitely worth the stop.
