Excellent hotel with all amenities, including a beautiful swimming pool. 950 INR (about 18 euro) per night for large double room with attached bathroom.

Very nice garden.

Very good restaurant - however, menu was limited, very much so at lunchtime, and service at lunchtime was very erratic.

Hotel is in a nice suburban location but there is nothing of interest in the vicinity so you will need to hire an autorickshaw to go anywhere.

Jodhpur is a big city, and to be frank it's dirty and badly littered in the old town. Perhaps it was the worse place for that we saw in Rajasthan. However, Devi Bhawan was a haven. It's a bit out of town - maybe 15 minutes in a rickshaw to the centre, and 25 minutes to the Meherangarh. But it's a tranquil, well kept haven, in a quiet area. Its rooms are set round a garden - ours, a suite but still only 1100 rps, had bouganvillia trailing over the balcony. Breakfast in the garden was a delight. The owner and his staff were always obliging and helpful.
