A small price to pay for mother nature Jun 07, 2011
Once in Triberg the waterfalls were quite easy to find. The waterfalls cost us 3 and a half euros to get in. The walks up were quite steep so no easily accessible to people in wheelchairs or anything. The waterfalls themselves are lovely although they arent very big. The thing tat kind of ruined it for me through was the metal railings that are put right in front of the waterfall bottom. They shouldve done it in wood to make it look at bit better, but instead they jsut look shoddy on the photos. There were several bridges that went up to the various levels, due to time contraints I didnt get to go all the way up to the top. It seemed like a nice place and there were lots of families there at the time and people taking their dogs out for the day. I would reccommend it for anyone who enjoys nature, but there arnt any wild adventure routes up to it, just a couple of set paths.
