Deutsches Restaurant Apr 18, 2009
Deutsches Restaurant is a popular German Restaurant along Changkat Bukit Bintang, the area in Kuala Lumpur where old continental houses are converted into restaurants and pubs. Changkat Bukit is quite boring at daytime but becomes alive at night. People flock to the place to dine & wine and just chill out with some good music in one of them bars and restos along the whole stretch of Jalan Changkat Bukit . There are so many restaurants to choose from depending on your taste preference for the day. There are restaurants of various themes- Lebanese, Persian, French, German, Italian, Japanese.

Deutsches Restuarant serves pig knuckles, sausages, ham, cheese, pork ribs, chips, potatoes, etc. If you want to indulge in non-halal food in KL then go to Deustches in Changkat. They also serve Paulaner German Beer. Price of food is bordering on the expensive. Service is good.

My friends and I in KL one day got bored with all the delicious hawker food at Jalan Alor and decided to look for a place that serves pork so we hit Jalan Changkat. This road is perpendicular to Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor. Its just a few minutes walk from Bukit Bintang. The place reminds me of the old Manila district of Malate.
