DestinationBCN Apartment Suites

We have returned to Barcelona for the second time around and stayed with DestinationBCN. A great experience. We visited our daughter studying in this amazing city and were able to cook for her in the apartment. We chose a 2 bedroom apartment with a terrace which was a great choice. The apartment is called Cadaques. It was more than we hoped for, the kitchen was fully equipped with great utensils and amenities.
Luxury in a stylishly designed atmosphere which never felt kitschy or overdone.

The lovely Patricia who welcomed us upon arrival was very knowledgeable and friendly. She provided us with a lot of insights into the city which was very unexpected. Thanks to her we visited the University gardens located on the back of the University on Plaça Universitat. We ate at a local Bodega called Sepulveda (or Can Sola) which was very local and had amazing 'Pulpo Gallega' squid and other delicacies like 'esqueixada' and 'cap i pota' which if you ask me now, I wouldn't know what they were anymore..:) In any case the hole experience was great since we felt so much more like locals thanks to the information we got from Patricia and the very helpful doorman Cristian.
