Denver to Milwaukee Feb 25, 2009
Denver International is a beautiful airport - huge I might add and very clean. If I had to have a 5 hour layover, I would gladly spend it in Denver.

I'm currently just sitting at Denver International Airport sipping a Bailey's and Coffee and setting up my blog. My flight leaves in a little over an hour, then, 3 hours after that, I will be touching down in sunny, warm Puerto Vallarta!… Sittin' at the airport |

…absolutely hideous sculpture of a blue stallion with (I kid you not) flaming electric red eyes that welcomes travelers to the Denver International airport. Apparently when it was being built it tipped over and crushed the artist. This may have been a sign that it's construction and display was a bad idea, but apparently nothing stands in the way of Colorado showing off its hokey… Family and Forests: Denver |

The International Airport for Beijing is about an hour from the city center, which I didn't realize. We got to the airport in pleanty of time but spent nearly three times what I thought it would cost (125 yuan). The lines were of course… We're Home! |

I finally made to Denver. I was only two hours late. This airport is so nice and well organized. I made it out to AVIS and picked up my vehicle. Jumped in and headed on out to Colorado Springs. People actually follow the speed… Denver International Airport |

That was our newly formed frontline defense for homeland security. His command to remove my shoes seemed to restore his authority and confidence. But the new Stapleton International Airport had greatly improved and my two hour stopover was a more pleasant experience than that years earlier. … Must be a Fuel Stop |
