I have been several times on bali (also before my friend lived there as short break in my asia travels) and it is still one of my favorites although it changed a lot the last years (after the terrorist bombs, tourism fell down and some fantastic spots changed in ghost-spots (lovina, but also sanur...). One more adventure here in Bali, and then it's time to head out.  We all met at the pool at 7am for some tea, and then it was off for some snorkeling in the Bali Sea.  We rode out from the beach on an outrigger boat called a "jukung" -- my boat mate was Courtney.  We were accompanied by a pod of dolphins.  Love those friendly escorts!  We saw lots of colorful fish -- French Angels, Parrot Fish, Pipe Fish, and even some Manta Rays.  The coral here was really beaut...

I went to Bali in 2005! We had a stopover in Kuala Lumpur and then we had our flight to Denpasar. To our 5-star hotel in Sanur named the Bali Hyatt. A very fantastic hotel! Sanur is not such a touristic town as Kuta! Next stop for us was Ubud, the most artistic place on Bali. Also very nice. Then we went to the vulcans on the middle of the island (Kintamani and Kedisan). Singaraja and Lovina to spot some dolphines, then back to Sanur for some days to relax on the beach!

Traveled from Jarkarta through Java to Bali. And then to Singapore.
