2 days only in this wonderful city.

You can find almost everything in Denmark, from famous turist attractions, lively cities, viking ruins, medival castels and rural countryside. The country is relatively flat, and the highest point rising to only 173 m. After 22 hours long bus ride from Slovenia we were finally there...

Roadtrip crossing Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. A total of 11.000 km mostly trough Norway, shot about 2500 pictures.

Tomorrow I'm leaving heading North, picking up Sofie in Antwerp on the way to Sweden, then from 19th July from Netherlands with Ineke to Portugal, so much fun to be had, so many roads and kilometers to be covered.

Every Christmas I've spent at home with my family. Christmas 2008 were exeptional. Why? I got a chance to see how Swedish people celebrate it thanks to the invitation of my good friend Dan. This is how I got to Helsingborg in the most southern part of this country, which according to another Swedish friend should have been sold to Denmark long time ago. I experienced a wonderfull Christmas Eve with really nice people, loads of sweet stuff and some good drinks. Skål.

Last summer my boyfriend and i made a tour for two weeks along the coastline of Jutland, Denmark. Stayed at different camping sites with our trusty tent without reservations :)

Spring Break in Copenhagen visiting a friend and doing some site seeing. Also took a 2 day trip over to Stockholm.

Nordic countries always impressed me, so i decided to make new "Scandinavian" blog, with pictures from all nordic countries. Pictures are really great! Convince yourself!

I'll arrive at Stockholm on June 13, in the early morning and stay there for 5 days. With Sweden Rail's high speed train from Stockholm to Malmo, I'll be in Copenhagen on June 17 and will spend 4 days to look arround.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to accompany a wonderful family of 5 (mom, dad, and 3 kids aged 6, 5 and 18 months) on vacation to Denmark to visit their great grandmother who is 93 years old. Its always a challenge but very rewarding in the end :-)

So many flock to Copenhagen to see the famous Hans Christian Anderson's Mermaid Statue. It's actually modest in size, but you're astonished by the people surrounding and admiring the Mermaid and soon you're also captured by her charm. Perhaps Anderson's Mermaid statue is a metaphor for everyone's admiration for Denmark and the Danes. Modest, humble, and friendly, there's a calm that consumes you as you walk through the cobblestone streets of Copenhagen.

We were supposed to visit the Maersk terminal in Aarhus, Denmark, but since I was dead drunk the night before, I missed the bus at 7am and woke up at 10am! I was supposed to follow but halfway through the 3-hour trip, I decided to not go to Aarhus anymore and instead spent the afternoon in Odense.
