This was the second time my son and I went for a camping trip by car to the beloved Bordeaux in two years. We have both times stayed at the beach outside Carcans sur plage. This is a fantastic area where you can have the beach alone. The area is a well known surfer beach but not as famous as Lacanau some 25 km south.
