Den Bosch wasn't somewhere I'd planned to back go to, but Michel and Edith invited me to dinner and i was proved happily wrong about the need for a return trip.  having over slept a little - it was the morning after Crossing Border and I'd sort of banged my head off of a wall on the way home, long story, my hood makes me look like Kenny from South Park and I didn't see the building - so I only had an hour once I got there to explore before I met Michel and Edith outside the town hal…

Carnival in Den Bosch, Holland. Carnival, like in most other places around the world, is celebrated by dressing up in wierd outfits and consuming loads of alcohol. In the south of Holland it is no different except during the day are parades more focused on the younger crowd, and the older crowd wanting to be that young again. Great fun if you get into the atmosphere and don't take yourself too seriously.

Around Christmas Anders decided to come to Holland to celebrate it. As he wanted to see some typical Dutch things, we decided to spend some days in (how original) Amsterdam.

Drove up to Den Bosch with two colleagues from Asia for the day.  As a Sunday in the Netherlands, almost everything was closed, but it helped make it easier for us to find parking and enjoy the city without the crowds.

After a stop-over in Singapore we travelled through Tasmania and along the East coast of Australia.

Ryanair again. I visit Janneke who flatted with us in Auckland in 2001. Nice apartment in Den Bosch. Nice city. They like Indonesian food here alot (I guess it's because it was a colony for like 400 years).I like holland. Must come back.

For my own company I had to travel around a large part of The Netherlands to visit customers in September 2007. I took my camera along so I took some pictures along the way as well.
