After finishing our grocery shopping, we headed off to Den Bosch for a bit of night sightseeing and dinner at one of the little sidewalk cafes / restaurants. Den Bosch is about 30 minutes driving time from Brett's apartment and it's a cute area. We parked and wandered around the streets…

Carnival in Den Bosch, Holland. Carnival, like in most other places around the world, is celebrated by dressing up in wierd outfits and consuming loads of alcohol. In the south of Holland it is no different except during the day are parades more focused on the younger crowd, and the older crowd wanting to be that young again. Great fun if you get into the atmosphere and don't take yourself too seriously.

Drove up to Den Bosch with two colleagues from Asia for the day. As a Sunday in the Netherlands, almost everything was closed, but it helped make it easier for us to find parking and enjoy the city without the crowds.

Ryanair again. I visit Janneke who flatted with us in Auckland in 2001. Nice apartment in Den Bosch. Nice city. They like Indonesian food here alot (I guess it's because it was a colony for like 400 years).I like holland. Must come back.
