The best thing about Delta Lodge is its remote location and the worst thing about Delta Lodge is its remote location. You are surrounded by a vast wilderness of indescribable beauty. If you can handle that, along with top notch accommodations, multiple restaurant selections, fitness center, spa, planned activities, gift shops, grocery store, and a delightful staff - then give it a try.

We exchanged my timeshare for the Delta Lodge, and were assigned a room within the Lodge itself. Our room was very nice with a view of Mt. Kidd. The beds were very luxurious and we found the resort to be gracious in every way.

We ate at several of the restaurants and the food was good and the service was excellent. The gift shops are well stocked with a variety of local treasures. We especially enjoyed the little coffee shop just off the hallway of the lobby. And the lobby is great - with a nice fire and tasteful local decor.

The resort is nestled in the Kananskis region, which is surrounded by numerous provincial parks. The views are spectacular, wildlife abounds, and you are only an hour plus from Calgary and Banff.

Many hiking trails right outside the front door and you are close enough to make day trips an easy task.

Take the time to stop at the visitor centers at Peter Loughheed Provincial Park or Spray Valley. Their insight into the area and tips of well maintained back roads make for a driving adventure you will not forget.

We give the Lodge and that entire region a thumbs up and we would jump at the chance to stay here again.
