Steak and Seafood Oct 02, 2005
We didn't know where to have dinner tonight but the couple that we met in the hotel said that they always ate at Delmonicos when in LA.
We decided that it would be a good place to go for dinner as they were a Steak and Seafood Grill. We went in and were seated in a private booth. Just enough room for the 4 of us. I had chosen a meal from the menu but then was told about the Soft shell crab. I decided to give that a try. I couldn't enjoy eating the shell so I sat and pulled it off anyway. Other than that, which was my personal thing, the meals were good. The lighting in the restaurant was very dark which I think was meant to add to the ambiance. The biggest problem that I have had in all restaurants including this one, is getting a "real" serve of vegetables!  Part of the North to Alaska ~ My 50th Birthday trip 2005 travel blog |
