Delirio

Delirio is a brand new, modern hotel located on Calle de la Iglesia in Cartagena's historic centro. The hotel is right smack in the middle of everything. It is very close to all of the plazas and good restaurants. The decor is simple but modern. Everything in the hotel is white with a hint of orange here and there, which makes it very soothing- it almost felt like we were staying at a spa. It was a nice contrast to the explosive color that is everywhere on the streets of Cartagena. The staff is super friendly and completely bilingual.
Breakfast is served downstairs in a very nice outdoor patio. There is a small but comfortable rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of the cathedral.

All of the rooms have a blown-up black and white picture depicting some aspect of life in Cartagena covering an entire wall. Our room had a picture of a horse drawn carriage on the beach. Some of the rooms have balconies.
