Delano Hotel Miami Beach

I was able to spend a couple of nights prior to my cruise taking off from the Port of Miami at the Hotel Delano. It's a relatively expensive hotel. With that being said, if you enjoy the excellent service and the finer things in life, this place is right up your alley. If having world class accommodations is one of your priorities when traveling, I'd consider Hotel Delano. I've stayed in everything from Hostels to diamond hotels, so it just depends on the nature of your trip.

In terms of it it's location, it's pretty much near all the bars/clubs of South Beach. The cabanas and infinity pool were pretty awesome. The beach front property of the hotel is probably home to some of the most beautiful people in the world. It's definitely a place to be seen.

The food was excellent as well but I would take time to venture outside the hotel and check out all the local eateries. There's soo much great food just down the street at many local restaurants that offer a fusion of many types of food, reflective of the cultural fusion of Miami.

The room we had an excellent view of the ocean and was full of all the creature comforts you'd expect out of a hotel of this caliber.

I must admit that I have a soft place for light, airy rooms, and that is exactly what I got here. I loved the rooms, I barely wanted to go to bed at night and yet couldn't wait to wake up every morning.
