N53°32.782' E9°59.235' the interior emphasizes a classic old restaurant with painting on the walls, lot of mirrors, nice tablecloth and wooden floor. A restaurant with a tradition of good food and personal service to create a nice dining experience. Outside is a large terrace to sit in the sunshine. Reservations are required.

While ordering in May 2015, we asked clearly if no meat products are used in the preparation of the plaice. No, it was not, but the plaice arrived with small pieces of beacon all over it. Not what we expected. It could not be fixed. The asparagus with monkfish was nice in combination with the Pfalz white wine. Total €80.

Deichgraf emphasizes tradition of culinary artisanship. At this level kitchen and service team work together to deliver this level of artisanship. Deichgraf was not up for the job. Tradition is more style than substance at Deichgraf.

Plaice with bacon is a regional dish, but they should be more aware of personal preferences.
