Great location...Just a short walk to the Vatican! Sep 17, 2001
We stayed in this hotel during our honeymoon. It is a relatively small hotel with only 26 rooms between three floors. Hotel dei Consoli is beautifully appointed in an elegant style. The room was situated in a classy style and was very comfortable.
Hotel dei Consoli's prime location is in the heart of Rome just a short walk from the Vatican where you will find St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums and more. A few other attractions that are in walking distance are Piazza di Spagna and Castel Sant'angelo. The bus and metro are asy to use and found close to the hotel which makes all of Rome and the sights veryy accessible. Hotel dei Consoli has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a view of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. It's a lovely spot for a meal or cocktail above the hustle and bustle of the city.
