De Rozenhof, Small campsite Dec 13, 2009
Campingsite the Rozenhof is situated between the hills of Limburg. I just to go here with my parents and they still go here ever year. I don’t go with them anymore but every year I do spend one night at this lovely place!

A peaceful surrounding on a camp site with only 100 pitches and 18 mobile homes for rent.

It sounds small, only 100 places where you can put your tent or caravan. But it feels quite comfterbell knowing a lot of people and you always get good morning greetings.

At the campsite standing is a playground and a swimmingpool. There are rabbits you can cuddly with and there are pony’s. In high season you can ride the pony’s almost every day!

The campsite has it’s own restaurant and Case Fries. Also there is a small shop where you can get your daily fresh bread.

Ofcourse there are sanitary facilities who are cleaned daily. When you want to take a shower you have to get a coin, a coin costs €0.50.- and it will let you shower for about 10 minutes.

TIP! Don’t shower when everyone goes! Especially in high season. The water will not be as warm! So take a shower at an unusual time, so you will get the hottest water.

One big favorite of mine is the fact you can take your dog with you!

On the campsite are already two dogs, besides that there are always a lot of campers who take there own dog.

In high season there are daily activities for children and adults. Ofcourse there is bingo (isn’t there always ;). You can make your own bread or play a game in the woods.

Then there are the daily evening walks. Walking trough the lovely landscape of Limburg. There is always a guide who walks along the group and tells stuff about the surroundings. Dogs are aloud on the evening walks!

You can always go out on your own, for example walking next to the geul. The geul is a small river that finds it origin in Belgium, nearby the German border. The geul finally comes out in the Maas. It’s nice to walk trough the Limburg countryside following the geul or many other routes.

In Limburg there are a lot of Marl caves. People used to hide there in the second world war. There are paintings al over the cave. Pay a visit to one of the caves it’s really worth it!

O and last but not least. They will sent you Christmas greetings each year.

Campsite is open from January first till December 31.
