Great Coffeeshop in Amsterdam! Oct 04, 2008
The Rokerij coffeeshop was by far my favourite of all the coffeeshops I visited in Amsterdam. The atmosphere inside was very dark and chill, with lots of candles and incense, with eastern-inspired decor, and the music sounded like world fusion / trance. They had all the typical drinks at a coffeeshop (coffee, teas, soda, juices, etc) and then a pretty good selection of other 'coffeeshop specialties'. You purchased drinks from a server and then everything else at the counter up front. We were there on a saturday night and it was pretty crowded but we were able to find a nice table and just chill for a few hours! I definately recommend this coffeeshop!
