De Haan Vacation Guide
De Haan is a charming seaside town in Belgium. It doesn't have as many high-rise hotels as some of the other seaside resorts. Even at the height of the tourist season in summer, you can often find some of the streets, lined with villas that all have their own names, to be very quiet. The beach will be more crowded at that time.
It is also a good place to start leisurly walks. Along the beach, towards Oostende in the west or Blankenberge in the east, or in the forest.
