Best looking youthhostel I've ever been too May 27, 2009
This is officially a youth hostel but families are welcome too. There is not a real lobby, but there it is more a hallway with an indoor fountain and a desk where you can check in and out, get your linnen and some lockers for your luggage. There is a cafe like room where you can play games, watch television, have a drink and read the news papers. On the other side of the hallway there is the restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner cost extra. The restaurant is self service.
Every room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. Rooms can have between 2 and 6 beds and come with clean linnen. The rooms with 6 beds have 3 bunkbeds.
The hostel is located central in Ghent, so the Gravensteen and the cafes are nearby. This comes in handy when you want to go out.
Tourist info can be provided at the hostel, but the official tourist info of Ghent is nearby. Tramstop and train station are on walking distance (300 metres for tramstop and 3 km for trainstation).
