De Bonte Bengel

I recently ate at this café/restaurant in my hometown Alkmaar. It's located in front of the Big Church of Alkmaar and has a nice sidewalk. When it's sunny, you can sit in front of the restaurant and relax in the sun. From the inside, the place looks really sociable and nice. The people are friendly and everything is taken care of.

The food is good and not very expensive. The menu of the day, that's soup and the main dish, costs €12,50. That's pretty reasonable if you compare it to others. This is a really decent place to eat and hang around in the sun when the weather's good.
