Dazzler Suites Arroyo Hotel Buenos Aires Travel Reviews

Feb 25, 2006
The staff always did they're best to help us. When my mother accidentally hurt her foot, they helped her get around, asked her how she was, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and highly recommended; it's usually pretty empty and you can sit outside by the pool if you like. I never had a bad meal there. (we ate there numerous times after mom hurt her foot and they even remembered our names.)
And they totally put up with our stupidity when we couldn't figure out how to use the hot plate/stove in the kitchen. The rooms were nothing special but very clean and basic. Our room had a closet kitchen. (mini fridge, sink, hot plate/burner all in a closet), two beds, TV and a safe. Tip: use the safe. Leave your passport (just carry a copy with you) and extra cash, as well as ipod, expensive sunglasses, etc. in it while youre not in the room. The big selling point though was the beds. there were slightly bigger than twins but they were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Great mattress and the SOFTEST sheets I ever slept on.
The location was great for checking out local stuff; restaurants, churches, malls, galleries, even some of the embassies are close so you can check out some of the protests and demonstrations. (Tip: do NOT take pictures of embassies, protesters or cops. This can end VERY badly. Just don't do it.)
All in all, I couldn't have picked a better place to stay for the money.
